Ryan H.

Ryan  lampworks cremation jewelry with borosilicate glass in specialized propane/oxygen torch flames. The cremation remains are fused with the glass by dipping molten glass into a small collection of the ashes. Layers of glass are applied over the cremation remains, encasing them forever inside the glass pendants.

Ryan was introduced to lampworking glass in Seattle, summer of 1995. A few years later, he moved to Rochester, NY joining the team of highly skillful lampworkers as a Townsend Associate. He went on to earn his MFA in Visual Arts with Mason Gross School of the Arts, at Rutgers University. Today, he artfully crafts his glass jewelry in a silo at The Art Farm in Bucks County, PA.

Ryan resides in Hunterdon County, NJ with his wife and son.
