The process is really simple and straight forward. I’ll admit the hardest part was having to open my sons urn and open that bag of his remains to provide what’s needed to have the product I selected made. This was not an easy task, not at all. But honestly I am so glad I did. I lost my son unexpectedly this year and was looking for something more than just a urn filled with his ashes sitting around. I was wanting, needing something personal and unique for myself, something I can have or wear all the time, to have/keep a part of him close. When I was at the crematory where I had my son cremated I seen they had many products displayed to purchase. I noticed little vials that you can put ashes in, and wear, or whatever, and I liked the idea of carrying some of his ashes with me. But honestly in looking at what they had to offer, it just felt very generic, the vials I mean, there was allot of the same style and design, and they just seemed large, bulky, and cheap. Not at all feminine, small, or versatile. So it gave me the idea to search on the internet for other options. That’s when I came across this company Spirit Pieces. I chose this small pendant so I can wear it on a chain, I felt it very versatile, and obviously unique, and more importantly it allows me an inconspicuous way to keep a part of my son close to me, so when my heart starts to wear heavy and I get sad and anxious, when I really start missing him, in those moments I just hold this round pendant made with his ashes in my fingers and I think of him. This piece has brought much comfort.
