With a domed clear top, this piece has a wonderful view of the handmade space scene within. A clear comet streaks through to complete the look. When searching the website for a piece to honor and remember my dad, I kept coming back to this particular artwork. It is exactly what I had wanted for him and looks like the night sky/the earth from space. It reminds me of all the times my dad and I would look at the night sky through the telescope. He loved space and fostered my love of science. I think he would really love this artwork too.

Hello, The pieces we received are not as pretty as the one shown in the advertisement. I don't know if it's the addition of the yellow color, but they have a sludge, smear effect that isn't very pleasing.

This piece of artwork for my 9 year old great grandson is beautiful. I picked the paper weight for his remains with a space looking back ground because that's what Logan wanted for his next room to be done in if he had lived. The artist made it look like 2 shooting stars coming down through the sky and it was perfect. Everyone admires it and says how fitting it is for our precious boy.

Unfortunately, my son and husband died within a year of each other. For my son's ashes, I got the Nightswirl Paperweight. It evokes the cosmos and I can't help but sing "Starry Starry Night." Then for my husband, I got the Nightswirl with a touch of yellow. It looks like the sun is just starting to rise in the night sky. I love both of them, and I know they would too. These are so beautifully done and so lovely and calming to look at. I bought one of the 2" for each of my husband's siblings and one for his very best friend. They all loved them.
